Wow Air, the three-year old discount air carrier, is going across the Atlantic now and it’s going to be cheaper than anyone else, it seems. Wow, based in Iceland, announced last week that it will begin flying passengers non-stop from both Boston and Baltimore to Reykjavik, Iceland for $99 each way. Beginning in March 2015, the airline will also offer one-stop flights from the two U.S. cities (not NY or LA) to London and Copenhagen, starting at $228 for a round trip. Hey, how about hiring RuPaul to be your spokesman/brand ambassador and charter a VIP flight with Drag Race gals as stewardesses! Or maybe a DR stewardess challenge in the air…? the airplane already has runway aisles and lands on one… this could be good. But we have to talk about that purple…
