Fitness model, reality star, and recent adddition to the WOW family, Greg Plitt, was struck and killed by a train in Los Angeles last night. He was 37. Plitt appeared on Bravo’s reality series Work Out and recently joined the World of Wonder series Friends to Lovers, which debuted last week.
World of Wonder released the following statement: “We were so sorry to hear about the tragic death of Greg, one of the cast of Friends To Lovers. We enjoyed working with Greg, a consummate and hard-working professional. We were moved by his passion for his vocation. he was a fearless advocate for fitness and well-being for everyone. He will be missed by us and by many. We are grateful to have known him and inspired by his example.”
Plitt “was as nice as he was beautiful,” tweeted Andy Cohen. “We couldn’t take our eyes off Greg Plitt after we cast him on “Work Out”… (he) seemed invincible, like Superman.”
A train passenger told ABC7 that Plitt had a camcorder in his hand when he was hit. Plitt had apparently made fitness videos in the spot before. The incident is still under investigation.
