The Queen of Daytime interviews ultra-hunky Aydian Dowling about possibly being the first transgender man on the cover of Men’s Health.
Dowling, as we’ve mentioned before, is currently the frontrunner in the mag’s “Ultimate Guy” contest, which, should he win, would make him the first trans man to grace the cover of Men’s Health. So far, he’s recieved almost 5 times as many votes as his nearest competitor.
“I think if there’s one thing you want in life it’s to do your own thing, to live your authentic self,” Aydian told Ellen.”Being on that cover will question the new average. Like, what is average? I think it’ll break that barrier.”
He also talked with Ellen about coming to terms with his gender identity, and the process of first coming out as first a lesbian, then as transgender.
