So far, we’ve seen a few teaser images and even a teaser for the trailer fo Zack Snyder’s upcoming star-studded superhero pic – but no official synopsis. Collider, however, has obtained THIS from the Las Vegas Licensing Expo:
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Speculation is running rampant about WHO that threat could be, with the big money on Doomsday, Darkseid, and/or Lex Luthor. Personally, I’m hoping for Mr. Mxyzptlk. Luthor, we’ve done. TO DEATH. Superman the Movie, Superman II, Superman IV, Superman Returns, and Smallville all featured Lex Luthor. And he was the worst part of all of them. MOVE ON, ALREADY. And yet, we know he’s in the mix somewhere, because Jesse Eisenberg has been cast. GROAN.
