Gen Zed is the brand new animated comedy that’s set to make history when it launches later this year as the FIRST EVER animated series to feature a Transgender actress (Julie Rei Goldstein) in a lead role (and as a Trans character too!). Gen Zed is about four college-age people who move in to a tiny studio apartment in Downtown LA – a train wreck, a trouble-maker, a trans girl, and a trustafarian. It features Richard Schiff (West Wing), Jane Wiedlin (Go-Go’s, Star Trek), Miracle Laurie (Dollhouse), Matthew Del Negro (Scandal), and a host of Transgender icons including Jenna Talackova, Trace Lysette, Peche Di, Arisce Wanzer and Ian Harvie (as well as Trans people working behind the scenes too, as animators and colorists.)
