An unidentified shirtless man is videotaped chasing a moose on a speedboat, then jumping on it’s back and riding it across the lake like a bucking bronco. “I’ve never seen something so awesome,” says one of the men off camera. Yeah, awesomely idiotic. Poor little moose. Actually moose (meese?) are pretty dangerous, and I’m thinking the guy could have really gotten his ass handed to him.
From The Daily What:
The clip was originally posted on Facebook and reposted on YouTube by Wolftracker TV this past weekend. It has since been reported to conservation officials in the area. Authorities don’t think the video was filmed this year, and they are investigating the incident after receiving a number of complaints, reports CTV News. If identified, the moose rider featured could face charges of animal harassment and receive a hefty fine.
Maybe he was trying to emulate the famous pic of Teddy Roosevelt riding a moose, below? Of course that was a fake… so this might be the first actual case of moose riding ever?
