Mid-August, just about anywhere is heavenly weather (unless you are my mother in Oklahoma, where the heat index last week was 112!) I’m at the pool today, but the beach is nice too. Here are ten that Trip Advisor recommend and I can’t find any fault at all. Two of mine aren’t here. One is a bay beach I visited last week in the Hamptons, deserted on a weekend in August. The other is the clothing optional Kehena Black Sand Beach on the Big Island in Hawaii that I hope to get to again in my life. Enjoy it, BEACHES!
