Having come from Los Angeles to experience the Folsom Street Fair for the very first time, I would have sworn I couldn’t have been surprised by much before arriving. My expectations were totally exceeded, though. The fair included more assortments of sadomasochistic erotica than I could have ever imagined. There were people being dragged on leashes, pig noses and leather dog masks, bloody backs and butts covered in lash marks, minimal clothing, and A LOT of no clothing, erotic events happening everywhere around me—and that’s just the beginning. There were also some fierce queens that brought their best drag looks and some super cute boys.
