Well, not really…Videos surfaced today of Katy Perry performing with the Christian metal group P.O.D. You remember them. They sang this song – “Youth of the Nation.” Five years after that song was released in 2001 Katy Perry, then known as Katy Hudson, sang back-up vocals for the group and even appeared in their video for “Goodbye For Now.” She also performed with the band on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. You’ll remember, Katy started her career as a gospel/Christian singer. And now you know!
