The main house has 10 bedrooms, six bathrooms and several dining and drawing rooms surrounded by gardens designed by Edwin Lutyens, one of the country’s finest landscape architects. The River Dikler runs through the surrounding parks and farmland, that date back as far as 1253 and the estate also has a 45,000 square foot of modern farm buildings. In addition to the manor house, there are two entrance lodges, 11 farmhouses and cottages and approved plans for four further homes, so it’s really more of a mini-kingdom. Price? $40 million.
