Yes, I’m actually posting a Rita Ora video, but don’t get me wrong: I’m not a fan. And this blog isn’t about to become a pro-Rita propaganda site. But the music video for her new single “Poison” was inspired by Factory Girl –one of my favorites, of course – and seeing Rita do a modern take on Edie Sedgewick is vaguely compelling (THAT BLACK-AND-WHITE LATEX NUMBER! MY GOD!). Also: male model Maxim Anselin is hot as the baby-faced Andy Warhol and the boy who becomes his replacement superstar (Dylan Hartigan) is SIMPLY DIVINE. You kind of have to watch.
But enough with the Frizz-Ease product placement, guys. I mean REALLY.
